Stained Glass of St Margaret de Westwick, Church, Norwich

The windows in St Margaret are of the late perpendicular period with depressed arches.

No medieval stained glass remains in the the church which is now used as an artist's studio and the light that streams in through the clear glass makes the church a lovely open space. The stained glass that can now be viewed in the church was installed in the 1960s less than twenty years before the church became redundant (1975). The 1967 "expressionist" window depicting the ascension (by Michael King) is particularly striking whilst Ian Keen's depiction of St Margaret is a good example of using emblems to depict a saint.

We have taken the liberty of including a free hanging "roundel"which is in front of
the west window . It is delightful, please ensure you use the "zoomify"
