This impressive church still exhibits many facets of both Perpendicular and Decorated styles.
In particular the 15th century high pitched nave and clerestory represent the former whilst the 13th century chancel contains many features of the latter.
Thus the chancel exhibits an outstanding priest’s door complete with deeply carved foliage corbels
together with superb Y pattern geometrical windows and a four light east window with intersecting tracery.
Of particular interest is that three of the chancel windows also display 13th century glass panels.
