North Aisle Bay 6 window of Norwich Anglican Cathedral

Adoration of the Magi

The Crucifixion

Christ as a child in the Temple

This c1849 window is attributed on stylistic grounds to William Warrington. It was erected in memory of William Smythe( 1765- 1849). The style is very typical of Warrington's work displaying fine draughtsmanship enhanced by richly coloured glass.

The tracery lights display angels playing musical instruments, whilst the lights below show events from the life of Christ under elaborate architectural canopies namely : the Adoration of the Magi to the left, The Crucifixion in the centre and Christ as a child in theTemple to the right.
